1. EXFOLIATE, EXFOLIATE, EXFOLIATE
The basic rule of skincare is to exfoliate your skin. That’s that commonly suggested method by most of the experts as it keeps your face clean. It is essential to remove dead skin cells and give you an uneven skin tone.
If you don’t exfoliate regularly, then your skin may look dull and dry. For this, your skin needs to exfoliate that’ll not only dissolve excess oil, also remove dead skin cells on your skin’s surface.
Usage – Grab a scrub and gently rub your exfoliator in a circular motion on your entire body (you’ll also need a facial exfoliator for face and neck) and rinse it.
You may also use natural ingredients like besan, Multani mitti (fuller earth), yogurt, sugar, etc. Continue to do this 2 or 3 times a week for all skin types is important. Make sure you’re using that scrub which is made for your skin type.
2.CLEANSING YOUR FACE REGULARLY
First thing in the morning – splash your face with water. Your skin may experience more sweat and more oil than usual when the air is too hot and humid. To get rid of this, wash your face at least 3-4 times a day with any foaming or gel type face wash (if you don’t have it, simple clean water would also work). It’ll keep your face hydrated and give you a fresh look.
3.DON’T FORGET TO WEAR SUNSCREEN
Always remember, sunscreen is the most important product you must use in your summer skincare rotuine. As you all know that UV rays are harmful to our skin, so keep yourself a sunscreen with a minimum SPF of 30 (i.e., expert’s recommended) and must be applied in every 20-30 minutes before heading out in sun. Sunscreen applications can better protect you from sunburns, skin problems and tanning, and so on.
4.REFRESH WITH COOL FOODS
Your diet also decides the glow on your face. It should be in a cool way. So, always eat seasonal fruits and vegetables (juices would also do fine) to cool down your body.
Make water your best pal. At least 8 glasses of water are needed so if possible carry a water bottle with you and drink once every 1 hour. It’ll keep you hydrated and help you feel fresh.
