Luckily your hair doesn’t always need attention every day but if you set your hair care routine for just once or twice a week, I am tellin’ you it will work and your hair looks perfectly shiny and healthy too.


Now let’s find out how to maintain healthy hair, daily hair care routine you need to follow to help you achieve that.

Before we start, it is important to know what kind of hair type you have because everyone has different hair, and also it needs to be treated and taken care of it in different ways.

So, here I’ll tell you some basic routine which you should do daily and some advice for caring for your hair.


Step 1:- Brush Your Hair

Brushing your hair is the most first activity that you do every day or in your hair care routine. But over-brushing your hairs can actually stress the outer layer of your hair, making it look dry and dull. Just brush until you’ve thoroughly worked out all of the tangles.

So, the following are some tips regarding brushing your hairs:-

i) Brush your hairs from root to end before bed daily or you can also tie up a braid (you will experience less breakage with your hair secure).

ii) Brush thoroughly before you wash your hair as it will help you in massaging your scalp while shampooing.

iii) Trim your hairs every six months as it helps in hair growth and also reduces hair fall.

iv) Give your hair plenty of time to recover from a day of wear and tear. Shoot for at least 7 hours each night.


STEP 2:- Wash Your Hairs Properly

Before you wash your hairs, brush it from top to bottom properly to tackle knots and tangles… It’ll surely help you if you make it your habit.

So, the following are some tips regarding hair wash:-

i) Rinse your hair properly for a minute before applying shampoo. Soak it well with water for a minute.

ii) Always rinse your hair with cold water. Don’t use hot water it will dry up your hairs.

iii) I suggest you pat towel to dry your hairs, Avoid rubbing it harshly.

iv) Always use the shampoo that best suits to your hairs.

v) Avoid using hair styling tools like hot irons, straighteners, and blow dryers. The less heat-based products you can get away with using to dry and style your hair the better. Let your hair air dry.


STEP 3:- Conditioning your hair

Now it’s conditioner time, Many people skip this step but this is a mistake. Conditioning after the shampoo is the same as important as oiling. Conditioner helps in adding moisture back into your hair after shampooing. A good conditioner makes hair more manageable, smoothes out the cuticle, and reduces the chance of damaging your hairs.

Following are some points to remember regarding:-

i) When you are done with rinsing after shampooing as conditioner is a moisturizer for your hair and will keep your strands hydrated and manageable.

ii) Never apply conditioner to your scalp, always apply with the help of a comb for even application.

iii) Rinse it off in 1-2 minutes or leave-in as per the directions. Take care to wash it off completely. Any residual may harm your hair or make them look dull.

iv) Always use a conditioner that is made for your shampoo or suits your hair type.



STEP 4:- Apply oil

Giving your hair some oil treatment can be a key step to maintaining hair and scalp health. Oiling your hair can also make it stronger, softer, and shinier.

i) Gently massage your scalp with oil which can stimulate hair growth.

ii) Once a week give it a coconut oil treatment. After using it you will be so amazed at how soft and silky your hair feels.

iii) Use a massaging motion or using fingertips, apply the oil all over the scalp. You should target your scalp, follicles, and hair roots with them.

iv) If you’re using oil before washing then massage it on to your scalp for at least one hour or overnight before washing it with a gentle shampoo.
